My xbox is hard-modded with nothing on the original harddrive. Some how it got erased. I can FTP using a boot-disc but i cant transfer anything to the hardrive because i get errors (already tried shorting the name of the files). I have two auto installer discs (slayers 2.6 and 2.7) but both wont tranfer anything to the harddrive. I have also already tried using aid auto installer but still that wont work. I cant hotswap so thats not an option. I have the dashboards to install on my pc. Also if this helps i get error 16,13 and 21. THANKS in advance.
get AID 3.0 and just install the files you need from the disc dont try to ftp just install what you want from the disc
maby u fried you hdd that is very possable with andy mods done to an xbox. i think you fried it since you say u cant put files on ur hdd. thats a bummer....
what do u mean detected on the xbox there is no way to tell if it is dected on the xbox. or is there.
lol there is a way, if it isnt detected it wont boot at all, you get an error message, go unplug your hard drive and see what happens....
If u unplug your DVD drive you will get error 11... 11 - kernel - No DVD Found Same as #10 So read up please!-in this case read downs 10 - kernel - DVD timeout Actually its almost the same as error 6/7/8. But also make sure the yellow cables are properly connected to the motherboard and the dvd drive. 1. Make sure ide cables are connected good. 2. Make sure the yellow cables are good and properly connected. 3. Still no succes? Try another dvd drive of which you are sure it is working.
