broken avi

    So i used powerdirector to make an avi from a bunch of video files I got from my iphone. Im trying to make the avi compatible to play on my LG tv through the usb. The tv is good with most video formats and only ac3 format sound files. When I put the video it comes up as a broken file. Is there another program i can use to turn it into a more compatible avi file?

    Try loading/dragging the file into VirtualDub, set 'Video' > 'Direct stream copy' and save with a new name.

    Or Load/drag into AviDemux, set the options on the left of the screen to Copy, Copy, AVI and save the file with a new name (including the extension, eg newfile.avi).
