Hi, I have a laptop in which the headphone jack no longer outputs sound to the right side. The sound card is probably not to blame because occasionally I will get brief moments where I get full sound. Is it feasible to try and fix a headphone jack on a laptop by yourself you would you recommend paying a professional to fix it?

    Thanks

if you know how to take the laptop apart to get to the motherboard, and you know how to desoder a component and then resoder a new headphone jack on to the board without screwing anything up then SURE you could. but if you dont get professional help
