broken LCD montior

    wsup yall....my dads friend just gave him a 17" LCD monitor, the problem is that the screen doesnt work....its brand is Daewoo and the model number is L700C

    does anyone know what the problem could be and what can i do to fix it?

    OOOk am, I cant help you since I cant even see the screen so its best you bring it to a repair store

    does the power light come on?

    Something similar happened to me a few months ago. The monitor (not Daewoo) was blank even thought the power light was on. Turns out it was the graphics card. Once that was removed the monitor socket on the back the motherboard worked - it doesn't when a graphics card is installed apparently - and I plugged into that.

    Assuming your monitor isn't faulty then it could also be the graphics card drivers.
