Not much luck here lately. One DVD I burned with instant copy forget somehow to include the sound...it just took 3 hours to burn. Then I got me a new standalone dvd player a JVC hoping the effect that I had with my old thoshiba (movie freezing, broken pixels) would resolve. But it does the same. Those broken pixels...what is the cause of that? Bad media or bad burning or bad player? tnx
InstantCopy is not the thing to burn with. Either Nero or failing that RecordNow. And it does sound like you want to use half decent media perhaps although you havent stated which you use so it'd be hard to say. Tend to use Datasafe Media Ritek Dye X4 DVD-R myself & they are as sound as a pound ! http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers and type in JVC model to see what other owners of such players have found to be good media etc. herb.
What DVD ripping process are you using? I use: 1.AnyDVD 2.CloneDVD 3.Finished Or 1.AnyDVD 2.DVD Shrink 3.Finished Chances are that you are doing something wrong during the ripping/transcoding process and that why your getting a bad burn every time.
Be careful not to strain the processor whilst burning by running IE or other programs. also, its worth noting thathigh compression rates (30%+) can leave a very dodgy picture to contend with on a larger screen.
I use for myself without any problems TDK 440N v1.08 Burner Generic DVD-R (Princo) DVDShrink Beta 3.0 Nero The pixeling thing could be due to heating. My friend has his Dvd player on top of his tv and all movies that he plays start pixeling at the end. I tried at my place the same DVD movie and nothing, perfect re-play. Only diference we have is the setup. What Dvd player did u buy? I have JVC XV-44SLV and it plays everything that i throw at it wonderfully.
It is completely multi-tasking, but with slow processors and the need for burning to be constant, it matters more when you are trying to multi-task something with a burn than it would with running Word, Excel, IE and some other program together.
Lots fo things. You can use them instead of clay pigeons or you can use them as frisbies. If you still are unsatisfied, you can use them to build your very own leaning tower.
hehe If you are looking for good media, then use Ritec discs as they are excellent if not a bit expensive, but they get the job done every time! Ritecs are distinguishable by there purple/blue die. Good luck
lol - they are also distinguishable in that they are spelt with a K lol :-D AS in Ritek - not Ritec ;-)
where do I get Ritecs? (cheap)? And which ones? I heard that the memorex dvd+r are made by ritec. should I just go for them?
Get them at http://www.blanckdischop.co.uk or http://www.dvd-and-media.com Memorex are not made by Ritek.
Aahh, Ritek (Thought it looked strange lol). You can also try Ebay as there are lots of em going cheap!
lol - easy mistake :-D Ebay are hard to buy from since you cant be sure if they are grade a or not, its merely trusting someone with no possible chance of getting a refund within reason if they dont work.
Arhh, not always Oriphus as many of the power seller on Ebay own their own shop, but just mearly sell on Ebay for exposure!
True, a lot of them do, but generally, those with the better media dont sell on ebay in the UK anyway. Look at the 3 main Ritek dealers, none sell on Ebay.
