    Greetings and salutations.
My problem is a simple one. I have a 5th generation 60 gig iPod video which has a broken screen, and as of late the database was giving errors so I formatted it and set it to factory defaults, which, to no real surprise, fixed the problem.
My problem lies hence; After I had fixed the previous problem, I had realised a major error on my part. I neglected backing up my preferences so as to copy it back over when the task was completed, and now I am stuck with no help from Google due to even including the word 'iPod' unleashing a torrent of unrelated results ascertaining to my problem.
If one would be so kind, could you please either e-mail me or host on megaupload or mediafire or what have you, a copy of a preferences file (found within *:\ipod_control\devices), which will set my iPod to the following settings:
    ~Bass Booster enabled
    ~No backlight
    ~Minimal brightness
~Everything except 'All Songs' removed from the Main Menu
    ~Click turned off
    ~Shuffle on
    ~Repeat All
    ~No volume limit
~Anything else disabled that is made redundant due to the broken screen

I have extracted the following information from the SysInfo file in hopes that it will prevent later questions concerning the matter of my firmware version, if it turns out preferences are incompatible between firmware changes; FirmwareRev: BU011A

A guide explaining how to customise the preferences file manually would also be appreciated, or a guide referencing to the number of click heard, however I believe it would be much quicker just to backup your own settings, set them to the above, copy the settings over and .rar or .zip or .7z or whichever archiving format you prefer to send files in (if any) and send it to me then restore your own settings than to make a guide for me. OR, if you're feeling really generous, you could buy a new screen for me, though I highly doubt this would be the case, though my gratitude would be surmountable to that of the entire collective of homeless people receiving £17 trillion to share among themselves (I exaggerate, of course, though it would certainly make my year.)

I would really appreciate any help, and I thank you in advance. In return, I give you this advice if you have not heeded it previously; GET WINAMP AND ML IPOD! If I could I would offer more, but alas, that is not the case... Yet.

I apologise for the length of my plea, and would gladly give you back the time wasted reading upon my problem if I could.

tl;dr send iPod preferences with the ~ settings to me kthnx
