Fried your computer! You tried flashing back to the old system ROM? Also, are you sure you were using the right system ROM? I'd double check that to make sure.

    **update**

What error are you getting at the BSOD?

i just reformated and it seems to be working again. but i have just installed a new graphics card and that would be the only explanation to the crashes. the bios version is F4 and i was trying to reflash to F6.

Hmm, if you reformatted and that fixed the problem, sounds like some hardware issues to me. You may be on to something regarding that graphics card. What type of BSOD error was it?

I don't know what to tell you then. If it does it again, try and get a picture with a camera. Those stop errors are pretty useful when trying to solve a problem. But from what you've been telling me, it could be that graphics card driver causing the problem.

    BTW..

Here's a little BSOD humor for you.

    BSOD - DATA - STARTREK

Yea, but just because it's the latest graphics driver doesn't mean it can't be causing problems. Drivers get put into the field all the time and there is still hardware and software compatibility issues. I'd search around Google and see if anything has been reported with that driver or any other issues with the card. The card is compatible with your system correct?

    Good luck man...

well i'm pretty sure its compatible i mean its a custom built computer so im not sure but i've built 3 other computers before and never had an issue with compatibility.

Yea, like do the graphics card and slots bus speeds match? Stuff like that. Just trying to narrow down any other possibilities.

    Good luck..
