I get several error messages when I try to run COD WAW. Some come together and sometimes I get just one. I get DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, USBPORT.SYS-ADDRESS, and IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE. Now I reinstalled the game and ran all the patches, restarting after each patch. I also updated my audio and video drivers along with directx. My system spec are as follows: Processor: Intel E6600 Ram: 4GB Corsair Motherboard: ECS Nforce 570 Slit-A Video: BFG 8800 GTX Sound: USB Turtle Beach Audio Advantage SRM OS: Windows Vista Premium with SP1 Any help or suggestion would be apprecitated.
I *think* the nForce 570 is the chipset that has problems running 4GB of RAM in a 32-bit enviroment on COD. You could take a stick of RAM out then see what happens (obviously only if you've got multiple sticks). But first do the general stuff *I hope* you've already done. Make sure all drivers are up to date, nothing important's broken and so on
I'm running Vista 64 and I never really had any problems until recently. I rolled back my audio and video drivers and updated them. I also updated the drivers for my motherboard. The game started working fine until Windows updated the NForce controllers. I had to roll those back and update my drivers all over again. This time I disabled automatic updates so I can go over what is being updated. It's been working so far.
