Hi, I have a NEC 1300A dvd burner running on windows 2000 professional and iam having buffer problesm with it, resulting in it taking much longer to burn dvd's. The read buffer is fine at 100% but the other buffer keeps going up and down from between 18% to about 75%. I can usually burn a dvd in about 14 minutes but its now taking at least 30 mins to burn with my 4 speed writer. I have tried 2 different types of media with the same problem. I have even tried a dvd lens cleaner and still iam getting this problem. Both buffers should be close to a steady 100% but they ain't. Iam running out of idea's here, i have already flashed the firmware before in the past ok so i don't think its that, but maybe it is! Please help!!!!!!!!!!!
