Hi, I can successfully burn a data dvd which is only about half capacity but when I try to burn a full dvd I am shown that the "buffer is too large" and the process fails. I have tried various things and not had any luck. Can anyone get any clues from the log report below? Thank you very much for any help provided.

It says that DMA is turned off - is this a PATA/IDE (not SATA) burner?
If so, download and run ImgBurn.
    Click Tools > Reset DMA.

In any case, load the files (Write files/folders to disc).
If you have a blank DVD-R disk, click 'Test mode', select a moderate speed and click the arrow.
If the simulation comes back OK, uncheck 'Test mode' and burn.

Since you seem to be using DVD+R you can't use test mode.
Just set a moderate speed and burn.

There is a separate pop-up log screen that you can copy and paste here if things end in tears.
