Building a pc custom need help

    im building a pc with the folowing parts i havent purchased anything yet except the fan and i was wondering if these parts will work together and will they make a good or fairly decent pc? and if you have any ideas for what will be better and about the same price please post them, please keep in mind im only 14 so i cant just buy everything thats $300 each

    RAM= CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800

    Grafix card= EVGA Geforce 7900GT KO Video Card

    Motherboard= ABIT AN8 32X Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16 ATX AMD

    Hard Drive= Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

    Sound Card= Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum 70SB035000003 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card

    CD Drive= Unkown

    im aware that i left things out but i cant think of what so just let me know what i left out and post what you think i should get thanks

    thats a good setup but ur missing a cpu and a case, i think u should get this for ur cpu http://directron.com/ado3800cubox.html if its too expensive then search for other cpu's at www.directron.com im also buildin my comp from there

    uh well im going to ask the worlds nubiest question here, whats the cpu? lol, i think its the little shiny square on the mother board correct?

    well this is the case i want

    328 Black Mid-Tower Computer Case w/600w PS

    and cpu= AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Socket AM2 Dual-Core CPU ADO3800CUBOX, 2.0 GHz, 65W

    i do plan on playing video games with this so i want good performance, im currently using this pc
    Dell dimension E510 stock :( so i hope what im making is a great improvement

    make sure that the motherboard that you have supports 64bit

    The CPU is the microprocessor. That CPU someone recommended won't work with your motherboard, nor will the memory you are considering. Look at getting an ABIT KN9 Socket AM2 and that same CPU, or, if you are on a budget, keep the motherboard you intended to buy and get a cheapie Socket 939 CPU and regular DDR PC3200 memory.

    If you don't understand what I'm talking about, you shouldn't be building your own machine. I'm usually the first to "dumb down" things so anyone can understand them, but you gotta have some level of knowledge before doing this type of thing. It might be better to find a friend who builds his own machines and let him walk you through component selection and, maybe, a build or two. That might also save you money from some of the "gotchas" you'll run into.

    ok well good thing is my best friend gave me th idea to build my own machine, and hes built the 13 in his room.... and i just dont understand some of the rzx37d thats an example but u get the point
