Hello. I just built a monster of a computer and I figured I'd go with a Razer Barracuda AC-1 sound card. I'm running Vista x64 and Razer released drivers for x64 so I downloaded it and tried it out.

    Driver I'm using:
    http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=112&nav=0

It won't install correctly and when I try to uninstall it I get a Visual C++ error which just crashed the uninstall process. Anyone using this card with Vista x64? Any help would be appreciated.

Install the latest version of .NET off the microsoft website before you continue.
Razer are well known for making good hardware but bad software though so I'm unsurprised you're having problems. I never installed the drivers for my Diamondback mouse because they were rubbish.
As I say, try updating your .NET but if you're sticking with a 64-bit OS you may have to return the card for something more Vista friendly. Trouble is Creative's vista drivers are even less reliable, so I'm not sure what I'd recommend. Perhaps an Asus Xonar?
