'Bully' Backup Problem

I've searched around but cant find any help about this....
I'm trying to backup my copy of "Bully" and am running into a problem. I ripped w/ Decrypter and all, but it sometimes goes to a black screen that says "close PS2 lid and insert game disc"

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, any advice would be appreciated!

 

Sounds like you're using Swap Magic to boot your games. In which case a forum search would of given you the answer to the problem as there were LOADS of posts about this game when it was released.
Use VERY good quality media; RITEK G05, Sony or Verbatim. If there's still a problem, then most people got round it with ZoneLoader.

 

definitely sounds like a case of poor quality media.

 

Im having trouble with the bully game too, I've rebuilt as it was 4.6gigs, ended up with 3.7 and burnt with dvd decrypter using the same MCC 003 discs that have never failed me before, I get a black screen and some unusual laser noises. Never had this prob before. Any other swap magic users succesfuly backed this up?

 

i remember when i burned my bully i didn't have to rebuild it.

 

Just made a 1 to 1 copy, plays fine.

 

yea l didn't rebuild bully, just burned and away it went, must be the discs your using.

 

i also have a similar problem with bully it has long loading time and after a while the screen just goes black
im using swapmagic/cd loader to boot it and it on RITEKG05. i used alcohol 120% to burn it.
anyone have any suggestions on how i can make it run?
