I am trying to burn some home video to DVD-R (Fujifilm DVD-R, 4.7gb 16x), but when I get through the entire 'creating menus and transcoding streams' process (like 2 hours), it rejects my disks. Whats up with that? And why can't it tell me that BEFORE it trys to transcode it for 2 hours. I haven't been able to get one home tape to my PC and burned with Nero YET! I am really disappointed in Nero and how it works.
Strike that, it burned. It was a 12gig video (about 60 minutes, .avi file) and burned fine. Watched most of it, it seemed great....now, I'm trying a second video to see if I can set up chapters. The first one just had the one chapter, and standard 'Island' background. Is it typical for the auto chapter-detection to last like 1.5 hours? Its been going for about 20 minutes, and is only 15% through the .avi. Thanks!! PS, Nero is getting cooler every few hours...if I can capture, edit, burn and play all from Nero, I'll be really happy. Word.
