I'm trying to back up one of my all time favourate DVD's 'layer cake' i used DVD decyrter and DVD shrink to get past the copy protected part of the disk, i now have an 8 gig ISO file, as its dual layer i'm having trouble burning it.

I dont want to have to buy new disks, i have your basic 4gig DVD+RW and need to get my 8gig ISO image onit them :( any idea on how?

    Thanking you in advance,
    Regards, Messiah

use DVD Shrink to reduce the file size. Use the "Open Disc Image" function, browse to the hard disc and load the ISO in Shrink and shrink it to fit onto a SL DVD.

    You're welcome!
As for closing the thread, usually they die by themselves when the problem is solved...

Don't forget to use the deep analysis and quality settings to improve your results, because 8GB is going to be a lot of compression.

For best quality use an encoder. Rebuilder supports the top ones, such as CCE and Pro Coder. The HC, also supported, is free and does a good job, just a bit slower. You can get everything you need at http://www.dvd-rb.com and there is a Rebuilder section here at AD and no problems getting help with it.
