burn a ASCII file format into Binary file format.

    how can a burn a file from window format into binary format ?

    Unfortunately I have no idea what you are talking about - explain?

    Actually i try to buy a file in the window for example a txt file, then the copy into the AIX 4.3. After copy the file, i found out that the each of the sentences in the txt file ended with "^M".My colleauge told me that the file is not in BINARY format.

    Burning can't do this. I assume you're burning a file in order to read it on another computer do you ?
    Try to save the original file as "text only" or "MS DOS text", the two formats are different.
