burn a xvid onto a dvd with mac os

    Hi, my question is in the title.
    Please help me find a way to burn a xvid on a dvd with mac os x.
    I already tried to convert my xvid to vcd, but toast don't let me burn it on a dvd.... help

    First off you don"t Make DVD"s from XviD files DVD"s are Made from Mpeg2 files so you would have to find a way to encode the XviD file to Mpeg2 first and then you can author it to DVD..Mac"s Just do not have the Variety of Softwares that the PC has so it is More Difficult to find good Quality software for doing this sort of Thing...well I wish you Luck
