I recieved an album which i'd like to burn onto an audio cd. the album came as two parts. an mp3 of the entire album (one long track) and a .cue file which when viewed in wordpad looks like this:
    PERFORMER "_____"
    TITLE "_____"
    FILE "__________.mp3" WAVE
    TRACK 01 AUDIO
    TITLE "______"
    PERFORMER "______"
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    TRACK 02 AUDIO
    TITLE "________"
    PERFORMER "_____"
    INDEX 01 00:09:65
......and so on through all the tracks.
i attempted to use nero 6.3.1.20 to record the image using the cue file (Burn Image) thinking it would make the tracks while converting to cd audio.
it simply says: an error occurred loading the cue sheet file (line 3).
so my question is: is this a real cue file that i can use to make an audio cd?
i checked line 3, the spelling is all correct, and i also tried including the disk location in the file name.
i'd like to know if maybe there's a small error in the format of this cue sheet that i can change and burn the album with all the tracks separate
i don't know if what i'm trying to do is possible, i've only seen cue sheets accompanied by bin files.
    thx

hi there as far as i know and im pretty sure that a cue sheet is worhless without an image you might just have to seperate the tracks with an editor like nero wave or soundtrax if you have nero available with these, if not you can find free software downloads for this just google it hope this helps.

I once had this problem.....try opening the cue sheet within nero....ie open nero select audio then browse for the cue sheet in the nero explorer window..double click....should find the file then. With nero 6.6.0.16 double clicking the cue sheets from outside nero works.
    Hope this helps

Actually I was looking for this solution just today when I stumbled upon a small program that worked excellent. The program is called Burrrn and it is available at http://www.burrrn.net. Hope this helps, best of luck!

ok its very easy first thing you need to do is open the cue sheet up again with notepad where it says FILE "__________.mp3" WAVE change wave to mp3 then use cdrwin to burn the file if u dont have cdrwin email me and i will email to u.when u open cdrwin just select the first button witch is record disc then click on load cuesheet make shure your cuesheet and mp3 file u wanna burn is in the same folder together load the cuesheet and thats it just click burn and u will have a cd with all its cue points

or if u wanna try this first just change where it says wave and change that to mp3 then just try burning with nero or whatever program u use to burn cue files i always use cdrwin its just that that needs to be changed to mp3 to work
