I got a .avi movie on my comp and i wanted to burn it on a cd-r so i can watch it on my dvd player. Does anyone no how to do this? And what programme should i use
You could make one of four semi-realistic discs: 1.) VCD - I'd advise against it since the quality is crap. 2.) SVCD - Alittle better video quality than VCD, but still crap and you will end up using more discs since the video quality is "better". 3.) KVCD - Highly compressed movies with good quality on fewer CDs. 4.) .AVI Data CD - Only use if you.. a.) Own a stand-alone DVD player that can play video files with whatever compression they're in. b.) Mainly play movies from your computer. Personally, I would opt for the DVD-Writer, some YUDEN000T02s, and bitset to ROM. But, hey.. we do what we can with what we have.
