Below is the log. (I deleted the serial number, even though I still don’t know why that’s important). I posted before on this subject http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/240783 , took the advice, and I still wasn’t able to get the burner to work. Do I need to buy a new burner? It's a shame if I do. I lost the receipt and I didn’t use this one much. ----------------------------------------- Nehmo Sergheyev Vapor 1A20-...* Windows XP 5.1 IA32 WinAspi: File 'Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=4.71 (0001), size=45056 bytes, created 8/14/2002 3:03:36 PM ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=2.0.1.74, size=164112 bytes, created 10/26/2004 4:35:34 PM Nero Version: 6.6.0.8 (Nero Express) Recorder: <TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552B>Version: TS10 - HA 3 TA 1 - 6.6.0.8 Adapter driver: <> HA 3 Drive buffer : 2048kB Bus Type : default (0) -> ATAPI, detected: ? pls copy this log into your oustanding thread; it's best to keep the problem contained to one thread until completion. spreading the problem across threads makes it longer to fix the problem and makes it harder for ppl to help you. i've requested this one be closed. will look at the log in the meantime
