Howdy, I am using an older version of Nero 6.0.0.13 from my old computer and installed it on my new one with a DVD burner. Nero recognizes my recorder but when I try to burn a DVD from a DVD Shrink file I am unable to click the burn button. Is it the recorder or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
Try downloading a current version. How did you go about transferring the program? I would also try to run the Nero registry checker and driver cleaner tools. I have them in a zipped folder here. Just extract the files and click the RegistryChecker.exe. Then do the same with Driver-CleanTool.exe. http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/Nero Toolkit.zip You will also find the InfoTool.exe. Run it and then save the results by clicking the "floppy disc" icon at the top. You can then copy/paste the results into a reply so we can see what's going on. I really think your best option is a clean install of the program though. Nero does not like being moved around. I don't see why transferring the "install .exe" would be a problem though.
