Hi,guys I have a lot of CDG files in my computer, I have already figured it out how to burn them as VCD. Now I am thinking about if I can burn them on DVD-R as VCD format, that will awsome! anyone know any software can do that? Can Nero do that? Thanks in advance.
Guys, I forgot to tell you. The software I used to make CDG files to VCD format is CDG2VCD, pretty good. but just try to figure out if I can burn those VCD format (MPEG files)in DVD-R. thanks again.
*rubs temples in an attempt to remember* i played with this a while back,and if i remember correctly, a vcd format on dvd won't play on a standalone dvd player, and will only show up as files. for it to play, the file has to be in a dvd-compliant mpeg-2 format; any other, and it becomes just like a data dvd. I can't name any, but I know there are many converters out there that can take those vcd files and change them to what you need. google it maybe? sorry i couldn't be more help, lol...this was a loooonnnnggg time ago.
thanks, Auslander. I tried to directly burn CDG files on both CD-R and DVD-r, audio output is okay, but lyrics did not come out for neither of them. any idea? thanks
well, at this point, i'm out of ideas. i know only a little about a little. however, there are many great minds on this site who know a lot about a lot and most likely will lend their services soon.
