am trying to burn my music with nero 7 and with windows media player but both of the programs give me errors at the end of the burning proces, it tells me that i need to clean the disck and try again, but i already went trough a 25pack of brand new cd-r's "memorex" "sony" and "maxell" can some one please help me?
If you went through a 25 pack and still have problems, I would recon it is Not a media problem, but the software you are using or how you are trying to make that software perform. try and give a little more detail on some specs ie file format MP3, WAV Number of files... etc. Sounds like your software is allowing the intial burn to your specifications but the burner cant finalize the burn. Could be numorous things, please provide more detail, even if they seem arbitrary to you. Weycraze
Your best bet is to get rid of Nero 7. There is too many reported bugs. Try burning media at slower speed. If that fails,I recommend dropping down to Nero 6 and seeing if that fixes your problem. If problem still persists uninstall WMP and Nero and reinstall. That fails, you can either do a quick restore (Press F10 continuously at startup) or do a full restore. All else fails, borrow a burner from a friend and see if it works, if so, get a new burner. Just some options. P.S. stay away from Memorex media. Most of it is crap. If you go to Wal-Mart, pick up a spindle of Durabrand CD-R. I have used these for about 3 years now and not 1 single problem.
