I used dvd shrink to begin the copy process, I have it set to burn with nero 6, it goes through all and then at the end it gives a failed to burn error. Below are the details. I have also tried to up dvd fab and and just burn the saved files, that failed also. I then tried to use just nero with saved files and that failed. Something not set correctly? I jsut did a restore on this computer and just reloaded the programs. They worked fine before....Hmmmm.. Please please help. THANKS GREATLY!! A~ BELOW IS THE ERROR MESSAGE... Hello. There seem to be some issues needing addressing. Your burner firmware is version 1.00, likely the very first version. Since the most recent firmware for this burner begins with a letter, either they've changed the firmware designation scheme (unlikely) or your burner, although an LG burner, is using firmware supplied by a PC system manufacturer like Dell or Acer. If your burner came with your PC, go to the support site for your PC and see if there is an updated firmware for your burner. The firmware linked below is for a Dell system: ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/rmsd/R143730.EXE 16X is likely too fast a burn speed. try 8X or 4X. I note you're using Ritek media. I'm not a big fan of that media these days. Verbatim is considerably better quality imo and causes fewer problems. Nero API version: 6.6.0.8 I'd also recommend updating your Nero to a newer version of Nero 6. I still favor version 6.6.0.18 available here: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe You might also try just creating an ISO image file with Shrink and burning that with ImgBurn (free). http://www.imgburn.com Also I'd edit out your entire Nero serial number beginning 1a.... from your log posting. Click the paper/pencil icon in the upper right of your post to enter edit mode for the post.
