After numerous phone calls & emails to Sony tech support dept, all I got is the run around. All I want is my burner working again...... Can anyone help? From it being brand new, it worked fine a few months with occasional burn errors. I would just reburn. Now it will not even burn at all.
I did the disk check sony said to do and it came back all successful. Also did the firmware update.
Maybe its a burn software issue? I have NERO 2.0.1.9 I think.....
With dvd shrink, it encodes fine

    Error show everytime as follows:

    Error:\nCannot connect TRF.

Your DMA is currently off and needs to be turn on. Here is a guide on how to turn them on:

Yes, I am using NERO. By the way, that step did not work.... Anyone else want a stab at it?

Remove all of nero and use DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink that is all you need to burn to your blank media. Just make sure to back them up as .iso files. Nero has been the problem through the burning process.
