    Hi there,

I'm no expert at reading logs, but based on the following things, I vote for:

    1- Cheap Media --> MCC 02 - RG20

2- Try burning this brand at 4x or 2x

Did I guess right people ?
    Other comments ?

    Just noticed this too:

Did you just add this Plextor drive just now ?
Is this an IDE burner ?
How come it's not displayed in the CdRomPeripheral list above ?
If it's internal IDE, make sure DMA is enabled on it !

It's a Plextor 716UF USB 2.0 drive. Worked well previously to getting this error. Also, the media is Verbat DataLifePlus 8X and also has had no bad burns.

    Hi again,

Have you tryed a slower speed (As I suggested above) ?
When things fails at 2x, there's a problem.

When there's a problem at 12x and 16x, not that's an other ball game :)

I would try one at 2x and this way eliminate lots of things !
Then increase speed as you go (Succesfull at 2x, then 4x etc...)

Were you able to burn those at 8x without problems in the past ?

8x DVD is lot's of data beeing sent down the pipe :)
I burn everthing at 2x and always get 100% results !

Damn, am I getting better at reading Nero logs, or am I a parrot ?
    HAHAHAHAHA !

Seems to be a lot of the same problems.
    ----------------------------------------
    1. DMA is off
    2. People burn too fast
    3. They use cheap media

My 3 cents worth, since I answered above :)

    OK.....been 2 hours.

Went through everything..........now burned at 4x.....success..yea.

I guess when everything goes OK at 8x, you expect the same all the time. Well, burned at 4x and the whole process worked on 2 DVD's.

    Guys, you came through again.......:)
