I have been using Nero and DVDShrink together to back up some of my video's and have been running into the error listed below. I have tried reading previous posts, but none have been able to fix the problem. If anyone out there can figure this out it would be greatly appreciated. To answer some previously asked questions: 1) I am using Memorex DVD's 2) I am able to burn some DVD's with no problems and others result in this burn failure (no pattern seems to be present) 3) The file appears to be shrunk and saved on my hard drive but simpy won't burn. When I try to burn it with Nero from my hard drive, it takes forever to compile (I think that is what it is doing) the sum of the videos but then says it is too big and needs to be converted to a lower quality. You need to turn on your DMA. Here is a simple guide: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 You have Roxio software installed. Roxio conflicts with Nero. Run the Roxio Zap here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml Also Memorex media is one of the worst. It is not recommended. Go and get quality media such as Taiyo Yuden or Verbatims.
