Burn process failed at 8x (11,080 KB/s) try burning at 4x your version of nero needs to be updated Disc Manufacturer ID: CMC.MAG. Media type ID: E01 try differnt discs and update firmware on your drive if needed
Thank you both for replying.....I uninstalled and reinstalled Nero and have three error free burns in a row (knocking furiously on wood) I installed a MP3 player software last night that may have caused the issue, however since everything is working right at the moment I couldnt be happier...........I will go and see about upgrading NERO! I have been lurking at this site for a long time and have found tons of usefull stuff.........thanks again

@sjbigdog - - also, you're burning too close to outer edge of discs. set target size to 4300MB in Shrink's preferences
Thanks Creaky...........I have set Shrink as suggested I noticed from your signature that the media is very important........Is the TDK 8x +R's that I'm using........50pack from costco for $20 OK?
media is one of THE most important things. The trouble with TDK is they use differing quality of manufacturers. The worst most appalling quality of those is CMC. The other trouble with this is that you can't tell just by picking a tub of TDK up, which manufacturer you've ended up with. Hence why i won't touch TDK
