I have searched thru the forums. It seems that it might help to have more memory, but I used to be able to burn without fail, now about 3 out 4 burns fail. You should get more memory.I think 500Mb would be minimum to burning DVDs You might want to try different kind of media. On some threads, people with similar error like yours suggested that the burner might be overheating. Are your discs hot when coming out of the burner?
Thanks for the input. I have been planning on increasing my ram anyways, so I will try that. As to media, I never had problems before I started using the Sony media thats in the error log posted above. Right before this failure that I have posted in this thread, I successfully burned the exact same set of files to a Fuji DVD + RW. Is it possible my burner prefers RW to R, or + to - types of DVD's?
The firmware for your burner is not current thus the hardware error, to update to latest version go to this site http://121ware.com/support/download/005/gsa4081a106.exe Latest version is a106, Cheers.
