I dont know why this started or how to fix it. I looked at other posts but did not find anything that could help me.

I did close all running in background.
I try to burn a full DVD, I get the failed burn.
I burn a small file onto a DVD and it burns fine.

This type of error can be caused by out of date firmware, bad/low quality media, out of date program, or failing drive.

Your Nero is up to date and you are burning at the corrrect speed.

This firmware is out of date and the drive is not showing any support from mfr. because it is an OEM drive. Read these threads on this particular drive and Nero

    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/213121#1180949

There is mixed review on this media, you can try another better brand such as Verbatim, Maxell, TDK or Fuji.

This is what I am seeing in your log, but there will probably be someone else along to see what else can be done.

I started getting this problem, and I finally figured it out.....
Try downloading the InCD drivers for nero, and it will probably solve your issue. I haven't had one failed burn since. Once you install it, it should load on it's own each time you turn on your computer. I searched for it with google for the download, but they probably have it on nero's website, too.

Well I have been working on this. Sorry not to post back sooner to every post.

I did try everything posted. It turns out that it was a failing drive.
I got a new drive and all works great now. I now have even better speeds with the new drive, from 4x to 16x write.

Thanks to all for your help, it did help me to troubleshoot.

Glad everything worked out, enjoy your new drive and may all your burns be happy ones :)
