There is probably a thread posted already but i cant burn my dvds! I am using Nero 8 and it keep giving me the read sector error. i've been using these dvds for a while now. i have the same program on my pc and it works perfectly. its just when i use it on the laptop that i have problems...please help Thanks
I don't see anything else wrong with your log, either take the advice or not. There is a firmware update available for your drive, but you'll have to contact Dell for this.
Also getting failed to burn error I use nero 8 on my laptop I use a sony external DL burner I have this prooblem many times in the past with different burners and it's always out of nowhere one time it will work the next time it doesn't I have replaved my internal burners to fix the issue before but I got this external sony not even a month ago I was using cheap media I knew that (windata -R DL) but it worked!! So I switched to Sony DL's to go with my Sony DL burner and I can't get it to burn.
