Please help, nero stopped burning disk at the end can not finalize disc. Using shrink and prodisc dvd-r. Tried with different movies, all are on the hard drive. I have burned over hundred disc, this problem just started and I have not been able to burn anything, even previously burn movies. I was having the same problem. I then downloaded the latest versions of DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter and tried with only these two programs and had success!! I think Nero is the problem.
lvbarboy, First of all, try not to use prodisc dvd-r becos they are crap media. Try better dvd media like verbratim, taiyo yuden, or maxell made in japan. Or you can try verbratim made in taiwan becos I once read from k666 message in this forum that verbratim from taiwan is quite good. Second, try to update your dvd writer firmware by using this link http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php Third, try to burn with nero express instead of nero burning rom. Do not use nero burning rom if you are not similar with it use nero express instead it is more on the layman term and easy to use and understand. I hope this will help you.
