I have been trying to save data using Nero Back-It-Up and also copy DVDs. I have tried everything I could find in the forum but to no avail. I am using Sony brand DVD+R. Hi again Gwendolin, I tried all that you told me except I wasn't able to update firmware. I got this message. 'the update program did not find any supported Hewlett-packard drives on this computer'. This might be helpful for other newbies like me. I found I could only download upgrade packages from the Nero and firmware websites with my antivirus turned off. it was only through sheer good luck that I found this out. Must be the firewall or something.
i was having problems burning also.i downloaded the nero version 6.6.0.18 and nero 3.1.0.21 as you suggested.only problem is when i went to install it i needed a serial number so i couldn't try it.
Hey Gwendolin it worked! Even though I couldn't update firmware after chatting to HP serivce people online! Just burned saved files on Nero Express. Now gunna try saving data on Nero Back-it-up. Thanks for your help.
That's the good news Gwendolin. The bad news is I still can't use Nero Back-It-Up to save data. Help again! It didn't ask to save the log. I couldn't even change the speed to burn cos it does wizards. Any clues? Here is the log of a previous Nero back it up that I tried.
