Edit out your Nero serial number from your post. Your nero is wayyyyyyy behind. Current is 6.6.0.18 Get the update here: http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/nero-up.php Latest firmware is JWS6 get it here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces You have pittifuly low RAM and your system is using it to run. This will cause you a lot of trouble when burning. Windows XP can use up to 128mb of ram itself. Your DVD writer can use up to 128mb so that leave you nothing to run programs on. I would recommend a upgrade in ram. This tells me you are trying to burn too close to the edge of the media. Reset the target size to 4300. Burning too close to the edge of the media will cause freezes, studders, and pixelations. Not good. I am not familiar with this type of media, but it is not widely spoken of at this forum so I would have to guess that it is an inferior product. I would suggest Verbatim or TAiyo Yuden, Maxell, Sony (MIJ) This tells me that your drive does not like the media either. The firmware update may correct this. Here there is a hardware error and communication error, which could be the result of the media recognition error. Finally, the burn failed for the above reasons. Hope that this helps. Get the recommended updates and have another go. Cheers.
Connected to MMC as unknown drive with class-nr : 1 Drive is autodetected - recorder class: Std. MMC recorder Nero doesn't recognize the drive.Hope it does after you make the changes.
- here's my proverbial copy/paste re Verbatim/Mitsubishi - - CDRALVSD.VXD is part of Roxio. try uninstalling Roxio (doesn't always play well with Nero), then you might need to fully remove using Roxio Zapper - http://www.microadvantage.net/utilities
