I just tried burning to a verbatim 16x DVD... heard mixed reviews of the quality but verbatim is usually reliable (not even sure if this has anything to do with the disc). nah, I just burned it successfully on some Memorex DVD+RW that was lying around... I guess my burner must have a problem with the Verbatim 16x discs. Hopefully best buy will take them back =/
