Using Nero 7.0.8.2.(NERO Express)I'm taking pictures off of my hard drive and putting them on Verbatim CD-R. I get a Burn Process Failed window. I don't have a solution. I get an "Error reading data", "Could not perform EndTrack", "Could not perform Fixation" and it stopped at "Burn process failed at 48X (7200 KB/s)". I even uninstalled Nero, ran the clean tool, the reinstalled Nero as I had to have some work done to computer. Help!

After doing a search I think it's an LG model, however I cannot find any latest driver updates as it's the newest model, I will continue searching.

Also, just in case you are running a Dell computer, which does come with this drive, check the Dell site for any driver updates.

Then go to the Dell site, if you haven't already, and plug in your Service Tag Number and see what updates there are for your drive and computer.

Did you put your service tag number in, because then your computer will come up with the updates specific to it, you may have to pick your drive but it will be listed.

Edit: if all you want to do is just save your pics as data on a CD then why not use the Nero Burning Rom instead of Express, all you have to do is drag and drop. I find this better than Express for backup of data. Just my two cents.

I updated it. Now has a "version E112" behind it. Tried again with the same results. I have previously used Express and it worked 'sweet'. I'll give NERO Burning ROM a try tomorrow. I've never used it before.
arniebear - Does it allow you to keep adding to a CD-R over time to maximize the discs??

I wouldn't overburn, it can cause errors and you would not want to find out your disk won't read later on. If you want to get the most on a disk then use a DVD instead of a CD you can get 6 to 7 times the amount of data on it. I use DVD's to back up my MP3's and Data because the hold more.

Your right! I was going to finish off a half full CD-R prior to to my DVD switch. This most recent coaster making episode finished off my remaining CD media.
