burn reads unknown

    i made an iso file using simplexiso then burned it with nero the burn was succesful but when i put it in the xbox it reads unknown and when i reboot it with the disk in it reads no disk i have a v1.5 xbox i used a memorex dvd +rw to burn the game on .do you think the dvd+rw is the problem? thanks

    I hope you have a mod-chip installed on your xobx! Check to make sure you patched the game correctly before burning. If that does not work I would try another program for creating your iso file. Also I have read that sometimes the brand of DVD media can make a difference also.

    if u have a samsung drive that could be the probelm. My samsung can't read dvd-r or dvd-rw. When eve i put on in the drive it will say unkown so try using dvd-r. Als o i use memorex for both dvd-/+r so it's not the brand but the type.

    the m7 bios and the slayers 2.5 worked perfect and i used the same dvd+r

    the best program to make your iso is craxtion get the latest at www.craxtion.com they have there own forum as the bloke who created this program gives advice on it himself this also automatically patches all the xbe files that need patching
    i have a samsung drive in my xbox and i only use dvd-r (because they burn faster) and i know it's the best drive that comes with the xbox thompson is the worst the other is philips which is a bit fussy
