I am burning some of my avi files using nerovision express and when i burn them 1.6G of avi ends up being 6G when on the disc which means i cant fit all of what i want on. Is this normal or my settings? If it is normal is there anyway to reduce the size without impairing the quality. Thanks for any help.

Try using avi2dvd to convert your files into dvd-type files. Then use a free program supported by many folks here named dvd shrink to shrink your files down to fit a 4.7g disk.

Isn't it determined my the lenth o the avi.
eg. When I burn VCDs I have 3 files of 150mb (450mb) but because they are 25 minutes long (75minutes) it says they are 600+mb which doesn't mean their size but their lenth size in MB (if im making sense).
