Ok... It would be greatly appreciated if I could get answers to these questions.

    1. If I have a 16x DVD burner and 4x Blank Media, will the media limit the burning speed?

    2. Why is a slow burning speed not required for music and video to prevent coasters but it is recomended to keep a lower burning speed for PC Games and XBOX games?

    3. Relating to the 2nd question, what would be a good burning speed to burn PC Games (Both DVD and CD) to prevent coasters.

    Thanks guys!

    1. To ensure quality burns.
    2. Because they contain more data that is more likely to corrupt and if it does then it will malfunction the game etc and with mp3's or whatever you only loose sound quality.
    3. 4x to 8x

Also make sure you use good quality media such as Verbatim.

And learn to be more patient and someone will come to answer your question - no one is abbliged to do it straight away :)

    1. Usually the speed of the media will determine how fast the disc will burn.
    2. Lot more data to be burned and would imagine the dyes would be different for Cds and DVDs.
    3. I burn My 8X TY +R TO2 DVDs at 8X. A lot of people suggest burning at half the rated speed of the media. I haven't done games so I'm a newbie there. CDs, I usually burn around 24X.

And as Ripper said good quality media is a must!
