hi everyone, just i've found this awesome site, and i read many threads here, with problem solved, and i wonder if you can help me too with Nero v7 Ultra Edition, acctually, i'm trying to Burn some files to a DVD-R Verbatim and at the end i get the message with "Burn Successful", but when i'm inserting the DVD back , there are no files !!!

    My Laptop's CONFIGURATION:

    Toshiba A200-1S5
    Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 x86
    DVD-RW DL drive - TSSTcorp CDDVDW-L632H ATA
    Memory RAM - 2048 (667 frecvency)
Video Card - ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600

    NOTICE:
i don't receive no error, but yesterday i was able to burn DVD's, but today, after installing all Updates for Windows, i can burn either DVD's but no data on disk, besides that it stays to much at "Write lead-out", even at 5mb burning . . . . is somehow my firewall to block it from burning? or the reason couse it's to hot ? (yes, i'm spending much time on my lappy and it becames hot), or just a simply format will sort my problem ?

P.S I've updated the firmware for my DVD Drive, and it's running in DMA mode, and that trick with deleting some registry - click here done already, still no succes !!!

Please Guys help me to sort this problem, i still have the warranty, but i don't wanna spent 30 days without my PC, i do preffer to Buy another drive :) , thank you in advance

    BEST WHISHES from

    Crish

Make sure that you havent check marked the box that says something like test burn or simulation burn.

Provide more info. Have you ripped a DVD and simply trying to copy it to a blank DVD? Are you using Nero Burning Rom? or maybe your using Nero Vision and your loading and AVI and burning that to a DVD.

    This was more helpful.

You already have. You failed to mention any of these things in your first post which may have lead to a response from some one more knowledgeable then myself.

The only other option I can suggest at this point is try Nero Burning rom instead. It may be a bug in the Nero Express software.

thx guys for helping me, but now my problems is solved.... how ?

    1. My Firewall blocked NeroAG to write into registry
    2. I have cleaned up my cooler from my laptop, was too hot when burning and my laptop too (after 5 minutes ON) !!! so all the "hot air" wasn't throwed out, he was "walking" inside my laptop which affected my DVD-RW !!!

Yeah, sounds crazy but, this is true !!! so once again i've learned from my mistakes !!!
