Hi. I have been searching for this answer and can't seem to find it.

I have some Xvid/DivX videos. I know how to convert them to VCD, SVCD, or DVD. But the conversion takes too long, 1 sometimes 2 hours. Is there a way to just burn the Xvid/DivX videos directly onto a disk and play them on a standalone DVD player that plays Xvid/DivX? Please let me know how. Greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I tried but it won't play. I have a Harman Kardon DVD27 that supposed to play DivX.

I don't know about your player but it sounds like it doesnt play divx or you wouldn't have started this topic..
The Philips dvd/divx upconverting players at walmart work well. If you get the one with the usb port you can put your divx on a usb chip and don't even need to use a disc. When i do use a disc i use imgburn to make a data disc.
