burned copy of my NWN2 for roomate so we could lan but says invaid key any way around this?

I know its not a newer game but we still want to lan but it wont let me says invalid key. even when i disconect the internet and make it to screen to make a game when i got to hit create it still says invalid code. Any one know of way around this?

 

You need another key to play as I have not seen a lan fix for this game.

 

i did use a different key, used one i got off a torrent site. but i guess i could uninstall it try different key. but i dont think thats it because it tells me invalad key before i even make the game. before i connect to his game. im just losing hope we will be able to play it.
