hello! there is this website (harunyahya.com) which has free religious avi files for download. i converted avi to dvd. and burned it to a dvd disc. first time, it played real good on my Toshiba player. when the video ended, the dvd froze (blank black screen) instead of going back to the menu. usually what my dvd player does is that if i put in a dvd it first says: READING and after it detects that its a good disc, says: DVD then it starts playing the disc. what happend when i tried playing the burned dvd the second time is that it said READING for a longer time then usual then it said "Incorrect disc". i dont get it. first time, it plays real good just like an original dvd. second time, this? and by the way, the second time i played the disc was right after i watched it the first time. what happend? stuff i used to make the dvd: DIKO Free 0.78B1 - for conversion from avi to dvd format then DVD-Lab 1.4 BETA 1 - for making the menu and burning. im sorry if this msg is in the wrong forum. and just to let u know, this is my first post and this was the first dvd i ever made. thanx alot!
What kind of media are you using?? The blank disc's you use make alot of diff. I dunno if this is the exact cause but it could be a place to start.
