I downloaded movie which was in a VIDEO_TS folder (there was no AUDIO_TS folder). I added the AUDIO_TS folder and used the program Folder2Iso to convert the files/folders into one nice ISO.

With the ISO, I burned it to a DVD-R disc using DVD Decrytper. Everything went smoothly until I actually tried to play the DVD in my PS2... it would not work.

This is the first time a burned DVD has never worked in my PS2 and I was wondering why it would not? Is it because I added the AUDIO_TS folder? Is it because its downloaded? Is it because its a DVD-R disc and not a DVD+R?

The disc is some Staples brand, so I'm assuming its not the greatest of DVD-discs. I have some Verbatim DVD+R but I only like using those for better movies. Plus I have about a 100 of these staples DVD-R.

Anyway, should I just try something else? Or re-burn it, but with a DVD+R (and all my DVD+R's have worked in my PS2)? Bummer the DVD-R's arn't working... unless its something else.

Another quick question... the audio of the movie is extremely low. When I play it in my computer (the disc works in my laptop), I have to turn the volume all the way up, and even then it's still a bit quiet. Is there something I can add to the AUDIO_TS or VIDEO_TS that can increase the sound, without the fuss of having to actual turn up the volume?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't think is because you added an Audio_TS folder (although not needed). I think the problem is most likely to be media related. Maybe is because it's a DVD-R, but most likely is due to media brand. I'd burn one of your DVD+R Verbs and Booktype to DVD-ROM.
