I hooked up by 5.1 home theater and when I play a dvd only the 2 front speakers work. The center speaker and the rear speakers don't play altough when I do a test all the speakers work. Oh, the subwoofer works. help!
You've tested via the control panel yes? (sounds and multimedia) Having done so, not all speakers play? Sorry...just making sure. If you've done the above and the movie is not a backup then set the audio preferences via the menu of the movie. If the movie is a backup, then chances are not all or the required audio channels were selected...in which case they won't play no matter what. Does your mobo audio or sound card allow for 5.1 audio? Help out some?
