Hi, I have a rip of the first few seasons of The Addams Family in VIDEO_TS format that I want to get back on to DVD. I used Nero Recode 2 to burn it to a DVD. The DVD now plays using vlc-> play disc, but it will not play in a dvd player. The dvd player said something among the lines of "area error". To me this sounded like the disc was encoded in the wrong reigion format, but I have used this software in the past without many issues. I can upload the video statistics/details etc. from vlc if that would help any. I assure you I am not committing piracy. If this is in the wrong forum, it would be appreciated if a mod could redirect me to the right one. -Thanks EDIT (more details): Burner: AW-Q170A Media: HP 16x dvd-r Software: Nero Recode 2.0.0.18 I did not make an effort to save any sort of log file, if anybody could tell me where I could recover it from if it still exists, that would be great.
