Burned DVD-R containing converted AVI files are black and white with flickering during DVD playback

    I have converted avi files using VSOConvertXtoDVD 3. When i burn the files onto a DVD-R and play it back in a DVD player there are lines running up and down the screen, the screen is black and white, and the picture flickers. This only happens with the new movies i download, not older ones and only occurs during DVD playback, not while played on the PC. Why is this and what can i do? PLEASE HELP

    duplicate post ?

    Check that it is not an NTSC /PAL issue.
    Did you set it to the proper output type in convertx ?

    If that's not the problem, try posting in the covnvertx forums...
