Wondering if anyone can help me solve an annoying problem having to do with pixel noise (pixels firing different colors) emanating in random lines extending like an equalizer out from on the left hand part of the screen when viewing the burned DVD. This problem is consistent throughout the DVD. I’ve discovered that this problem is only noticeable with the burned DVD’s and not the saved decrypted files on the HD. I’ve tried three times to burn with different media (DVD-R, DVD+R, and finally with a DVD-R at the slowest speed, all without success. I’ve sort of come to the conclusion that the compression software (Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD) might be part of the problem. The VOB total is greater than 4.7gig (about 5.9gig). I have Nero but it can’t compress. Is there a better program than the one I have? Is there a solution to this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The following is the hardware/software in use during this burning operation.

    Hardware:
    Motherboard: Intel D850EMV2L Motherboard, 533 bus speed W/ Intel P4 2.4b gig
    Memory: 512 MB PC1066 memory
    DVD: Sony DVD/RW DRU-500AX

    Software:
    DVD Ripper: DVD DeCrypter V3.1.5.0
Burning software: Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD V7.0
