Burned movies skipps a lot

Am using clonedvd and after I burn the movie and play it on my home dvd starts skipping. I have had this lap top for about 5 movies and all the sudden am encoutered this problem.

Am using philips dvd+r to burn.

any help would be helpful

 

that is cheep media, use better media like fuji,verbs,tyuden, lower your burn speed to 4x, no mulitasking

 

I reduce the burning speed to 4x would that make much of a difference with the philipps dvd's

What do you mean by not multitasking? not running other programs and not using the net?

What brand of dvd's is the best to burn on.
I have used tdk's all the time and never had a problem.

 

multitasking is surfing the net, or playing a game doing a spreadsheet, also with the disks that you are using you might have a bad batch of disks, also turn your screensaver off also
