Well, I've burned well over 150 dvd's to date! I've used Taiyo Yuden,TDK,Verbatim,Ridata and no problems so far until today. I'm about half way through the spindle on my 25 pack of TDK's and for some reason none of the dvd's will work--Dvd will not pick up--Burner makes a weird grinding noise when i put the TDK in!! However, When i put a Ridata in right after it works fine!! Dont know if its the DVD's, if so then why didnt the first 10 dvd's act up. Help Please ASAP!!
tdk's no personal exp but so many crap media post was not willing to try them you might try this link to determine the true nature of your media http://www.vso-software.fr/inspector.htm the whole deal w/ crap media is that they use inferior dye's or dying practices while some came out w/ out a hitch they are probably not dyed evenly so you will get failure w/ just a percentage or all even on the same spindle
